ECSTATIC triumphed in the all-Danish final to lock in their place at the Fall Showdown.
ECSTATIC successfully made their way through Pelaajat Nordic Masters Fall 2022 to qualify for BLAST Premier Fall Showdown. The victory grants Marcus "maNkz" Kjeldsen and company a valuable opportunity to test their mettle against some heavy-hitting competition, with teams such as Astralis and Vitality set to be present at the Showdown event.
This also marks the second time that maNkz and company have made their way to a Big Event prelude, with the Danish side recently securing an IEM Road to Rio Europe RMR berth back in August.
ENCE, meanwhile, faltered despite being the clear-cut favourites heading into the qualifier. Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer's men struggled to get the ball rolling all event long, with the No. 17 ranked team finishing Group B as the second seed after a 13-16 loss to HAVU, before being eliminated in 3-4th place following a 0-2 defeat to ECSTATIC in the semi-finals.

ECSTATIC went undefeated in their quest for a spot in the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown, moving through the group stage after hard-fought wins over DUSTY and MASONIC. The squad then doubled down in the playoffs, taking down ENCE 2-0 in the semi-finals before netting their second victory over their Danish compatriots of MASONIC in the grand final — 2-16 on Inferno, 16-12 on Nuke, and 16-9 on Overpass.

maNkz and co. will look to cause some upsets once the Fall Showdown gets underway, with the online event set to play out from October 19-23, while also offering just two spots for the $425,000 BLAST Fall Finals in November.
Just four more places at the BLAST Fall Showdown remain up for the taking, with two teams receiving direct invites from the tournament organiser and the other two spots being filled by the winners of the ongoing TWR Eastern European Masters and Ace North American Masters Fall qualifiers.
The current team list for BLAST Premier Fall Showdown is as follows:
